This is For Tonight... :D theme sky.... dont ask me about bad picture quality.... this picture is dated around 2003-2005 and my tool for this is only Sony ericsson K700i for the first image and others is Fujifilm Q1.... u cant find new compact digicam on market today with 1 inch LCD in their body... hahaha... this cam actually mine before but decided to give it to my younger bro when my parent initially give me permission to move to ~*drum roll*~ DSLR... but later they change their decision and decide i need to use that money to fund my future car's down payment.... T-T

i would like to emphasis on comment on technique and not the grain on the pic please... i know it but i cant do anything in this moment.... unless someone want to teach me photoshop?? :D

quite decent quality for compact cam that doesnt have sensitivity control....
but trust me u dont want to use the digital zoom more than 2X

Another series of K700i....
This maybe my last time in this month to upload pictures taken with
k700i because to give way for better pic quality... :p i mean..
all the tech quality is about the same as all is taken by me... so the quality changes here is
only for sharpness of pic and other misc stuff...

the first subject is.... guess what is this...
i'll give the answer at the end of this post... :D

u can see motion blur on top of the tree...
where is my Nikkor lens with VR or K10D???

MMU Tree... there are another nice tree below... :D

This one also in MMU... the best thing about this is...
it only bloom like this once in my 3 years in MMU cyberjaya..
there are lot of this tree and the feeling when they all bloom is like
walking in cherry blossom park... i'll reincarnate this when i want to build
my own house later....

ok... for those who still dont know what tree in the first pic... it is herb tree... or in malay it is called "ulam raja" i dont know the name in english so i cant translate it for u... but the highest one in that pic is around 50cm or so.... it make me more ambitious to step into world of photography... where mechanical eye deceive reality... :p

Black and White @ Grayscale Experiment...

this time... i try to put grayscale picture.... better yet known as black and white picture...
experimenting with photo editor and tools.... i'll give the result at the end of this post... by result i mean my own opinion for these pic...

try to make this feel historical...
but the perfect parallel line failed me...
hehe... just trying my Bro's W30 macro shot.

now this is feel somewhat good...
well... it is old machine after all...
anybody know what is this?? it is old version of lawn mower @ grass cutter...
the one u see those people mainly use to cut grass near road...

i only can say..... over exposure in certain area...
help me... i dont know how to correct this... T-T

okeh.... personally.... what is your rate??

for me....

1. i guess i can do something about this pic to make it more lively in photo editor software... teach me someone......

2. dont have much to say about this pic.... but extra detail in texture i think can help me with this pic...

3. the editing process make some "line" how do i say this properly... but if u see background and modenas logo... u can see viewable line to divide this logo from background.... this is totally my own error when editing pic.... how can i blend the logo and background perfectly??

4. well.... the pic is totally make me say.... what is this pic... satria is not that old to put into BnW mode.... hehe.... and camera preprocessing, i accidently forgot to change back the EV to 0.. pic before this is in some dark area so i raise it.... but how can i forgot to set it back to 0.... my mistake...

5. my fav pic.... but when i put in BnW.... i tend to darken the pic.... but i still love the underexposure environment....

thus that conclude my comment for my pic... what your?? please... i need your comment to improve myself.... that is my main goal when i revive propdace.blogspot.com...

my conclusion.... when i get my DSLR...... try shoot mostly in RAW format... so any error can be altered without loosing information about color, light condition and picture detail....

lesson learn.....

tips for friends.... if u want to save a file for further alteration.... save it to uncompressed format such as tiff..... because each time u save your pic with jpeg and reopen it for further alteration.... your pic will be further compressed and will last plain flat pic without any important info in it.... thus resulting in poor final edit.....

MMU new Building...

yosh... after getting rechargeable battery back from local photo store... i sneak away my bro's cam... fujifilm Q1 and take shots around mmu FIT new building.... just to wait for next class as i have extra one hour after meeting my lecturer... so... on.... ready.... take out cam and instantly put it inside bag... :p shy... nobody use 1 inch LCD digicam now... i feel so leftout... but i'll stay with this cam for around a year or so.... depending on condition... sad.....

staircase to heaven... or is it hell?? :p

hopefully i'll go in that building next aug... :D

FIT building... i cant avoid it... those fence for construction purpose...

on my way back after class it is raining... thus my Cyberjaya night view need to be delay again...

Experiment With Perspective

i said before that i wont upload any pic taken from K700i in near future... well... i admit... i do break it... hahaha... as i dont know what new pic to put... got many flower and other pic theme to be uploaded but im just plain lazy to resize the image to proper resolution... thus... k700i is the best to be... heheh

so for this post i put my experiment with angle of view or view perspective to subject... hehe... i see brochure for cars.... well... time to change our perspective some say...

Today Special Edition... OLYMPUS E-500

ok... as today... my long dream had finally take its first step to realization..... this is personal story but as it is related to photo taken.... i just tell the story..... my Main Cannon(for now) finally here... i decided to abandon my dream pursuit for Nikon D80 and Canon 400D and run to not so big company in DSLR race.... i now own Olympus E-500... my ammunition for now is Zuiko Digital 14-45mm f3.5-5.6 and Zuiko digital 40-150mm f3.5-5.6.....

i tell the rest of story later... after we jump to images... :D

first 3 is from preset menu landscape for pic 1 and 3.... and for 2... night scene... :D

okeh.... continuation from above.... i guess i am too familiar with shake reduction in ny eldest bro W30 until i forget to stabilize myself using my own body....

just as the camera shop salesman say to me.... new generation of photog (short form for photographer) now is way too dependable to function inside the camera and forget to polish their skill.... they always goes for vibration reduction enable camera and thus the result is... they cant do their best when changing to other camera.... point shot directly hit me... hahah....

as u can see for first 3 pic... when compressed it is nice but there are camera movement if u view it in full scale....

for now.... i am happy because my era with phone camera and fujifilm Q1 finally over... not to say Q1 doesnt do the good job... but it is me who is hunger for better....

but as i use my E-500..... i am totally failed to utilize the M function... i totally depend to camera to do some setting for me now... but i will improve myself.... :D that is my promise to myself....

and for today... i finally close my unopened since last few month door for gaming interest.... maybe i'd be hooked by games later but i think only Nintendo has the capability for that now... :D

im going to hunt for tripod and camera bag later before Alip's wedding day.... wish me luck.... the high end external flash cost me about rm1300 so i think i might use pop-up flash until i got the money... :p

talking about flash... i need to do something about it as u can see in last 3 pic... the flash is way too strong to create another shadow to object...

enough talking.... playing with my cam now... hohhohohohohohooo

Short Update Before Doing Assignment

ok... earlier today i need to go to my bro... and with unsatisfactory factor from yesterday picture... i decide to practice more today... i try to use M mode.... by the way... M stand for manual operation in camera and it is good for u to try all things manually even if it didn't come out right at first try.... hehe.... so this today is correction for my error yesterday....

i try to de-saturate some part in this pic by using picture editor..
to give more attention to yellow and green inside the picture...

i hate this but i think flash need to be soften or directed to
other point and not directly to subject...
need... external..... flash.... :p

got 4 -6 version of the sky pic like this...
but i post this one as it somewhat have figure of bear @ dog
in lowest cloud in the pic... :p

as a result... i have taken about 145 picture today and somewhat i feel i learn something today...
majority of the picture is taken by M mode... got 2 by portrait mode but i delete it as model request...

today i go to cyberjaya... initial plan is to go there with my eldest bro as he love drifting....
but at last moment he cancel it out as he is going for family outing....

hehe.. maybe i am faulty in some reason cause in sat i complain about how many my assignments are... hehehe...

but i captured enough pic for him... i got 271 picture taken mostly there....
well... not 100% pic taken by me... but i will only show the pic taken by me here.... heheh

My Reflection

ok... as promised...
i will now reveal my founding about pop-up flash inside E-500

thanks to forumer in lowyat.net and
photomalaysia for giving me idea to work with diffuser...

as i dont have any model....
my MG Zeta gundam will be my assistant.. hehehe

1. direct flash...
u can see many detail washed out effected from flash..
not to mention about shadow...

2. setting my flash to manual setting and do some fill-in technique...
there are more detail in model and also the shadow somewhat soften...
1/40 fill in flash

3. fill in flash with 1/180...
not much different with 1/40 except the picture is darken....
i wont suggest this fill in when u are in florescent lamp's room...

4. and finally.... the diffuser....
if u are lazy enough to make 1.... just hold white A4 paper
in front of your flash and make sure it does not enter picture...

warning... if u are using this method...
do not put A4 too near to flash as the bounced light will hurt your eyes..

enlarge to see the detail for model
and u can see almost no shadow created by model...
dont mind the dust as im lazy to clean it up... hehe...

end with home made flash...

but somewhat i reflect the light to wall and created another soft shadow..... next time must handle the a4 steadily....

i call it nature life.

i call this because it has green to represent nature,
fish to represent wild life, honey sauce with tomato based as blood and survival,
bread crumb represent eggs as new born @ new life..

so i think Nature Life fit it very well.
and it is very simple... :D

what a day yesterday.... i plug in my e-500 to my bro's computer...
tada... my memory card... xd-card corrupted during image transfer...
resulting more than 80 images lost.... including the picture i love most...
need back up memory card and do not simply plug in the cam to any computer...

...LESSON LEARN...

meanwhile, enjoy the successful remainder of the attack of the T-virus on XD town...
